2025 Entry forms

  • Sheepdog Trials: Only for the Sheepdog Trials are Entry Forms required. All entries (which may have to be limited) must be in the hands of the Secretary, with fees in full, by TUESDAY 26th AUGUST 2025. Enquiries to  Annie Gilchrist.
  • Entries for Sheep Classes must be with Chris Newbrook by Tuesday 26th August 07572 587629. Payment on Saturday or before.  
  • For all of the other competitions (Horse & Pony section, Shearing classes, Companion Dog Show), no entry forms are required. Entries will be taken on the day and on the field.

    • 11:00 am – Class 2 Sheepdog Trials
    • 5:00-6:00 pm – Class 4 Best Conditioned Working Sheepdog
  • Saturday
    • 9:00 am – Horses: Showing Classes – Horse Ring 1 
    • 9:30 am – Clear Round Jumping – Horse Ring 4, until 11:30 am
    • 10:00 am – Class 1 Sheepdog Trials, Taly Garth Fields
    • 10:00 am – Working Hunter – Horse Ring 2
    • 11:00 am – Judging of Companion Dog Show commences   
    • 11:30 am – Showjumping – Horse Ring 3
    • 11:30 am – Handy Horse/Pony – Horse Ring 4
    • 1:00 pm – Hand Shearing competition
    • 2:00 pm – Machine Shearing competition
    • 3:00 pm – Gymkhana / Mounting Games
    • 3:30-4:00 pm – Draw of Raffle  / Presentation of Sheep Prize and trophies
    • 4:30 pm –  Trials: Final of Class 1 Sheepdog trials
    • 6:00 pm – Presentation of Sheepdog trials Prizes and Trophies
  • Sheep & Shearing
    • Sheep to be penned by 9.30 am Saturday, followed by Judging
  • Companion Dogs
    • Entries for Companion Dog Show taken – Saturday 10.00 am

Cups and other trophies to be returned at the end of 12 months
